Rob Adler

ROB ADLER is an award winning actor, director and creator of AdlerImprov.com. He recently wrote and directed the film, “iVote,” starring Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, Pope of Greenwich Village), Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years, Sullvan & Son, Broadway’s Lombardi) and EMMY nominee Sharon Lawrence (Desperate Housewives, NYPD Blue). Rob is also a successful coach and has been hired by ABC/DISNEY for primetime television, Fortune 500 Companies (Walgreens, KPMG, St Peters Medical Center) and privately by actors to help them bring presence, play and spontaneity to their work. Adler has taught classes at the University of Southern California, Geffen Playhouse, Will Geer Theatre, Hothouse Spontaneous Theater Conservatory, Chicago Improv Festival, Seattle Festival of Improvisation, The Actors Gang, Bootleg Theater, Players Space and The Open Fist Theater. An expert in Improvisational Acting, Adler studied in Chicago at The Theater School/ Goodman School of Drama; with Paul Sills; Joyce Piven; Ric Murphy, David Avcollie; Gary Schwartz, Second City; The Groundlings; SITI Company; the Actors Gang and has a certificate in directing from UCLA.
